The journey continues...

My first week at Sussex was AMAZING. It has been the greatest experience. On the first Tuesday that I was here we ended up going to Queens and Kings Pub for Karaoke night and it was so much fun. English people really do know how to sing. I experienced my first Screaming Orgasm and Sex on the Beach that day. For people who might think nasty those are drinks. They were really good.

  

After experiencing my first pub in Brighton  a lot of the group had the drunk munchies so they took us to a place to eat and of course I ordered a burger because I was not down to have the English Breakfast which consist of something that has blood and I was not gonna eat it. So I went with a simple burger. The server asked me what type of sauce I wanted and confused I asked him what types he had. He listed so many types of sauces it was overwhelming and I ask if they had ketchup and of course he would laugh at me. It was hilarious at that moment. That was my first night in Brighton it was a lot of fun.

The Second night in Brighton was interesting. We went on a pub tour and they took us to about fours pubs it was really interesting and fun. The first one we went to had karaoke. The guys were singing and it was a lot of fun. Then at the end of the night we ended up at a club. Legit music was being played. We had a lot of fun, but of course I had to experience being harass by a guy. It happened at a bus stop, but I am fine now. Was able to get away. :) It was a night full of fun and it ended with us eating Fish and Chips (if you come to England you need to have some).

The weekend was an amazing experience. On Saturday we went into London and we had a walking tour and I got to see things that I had not seen already. It was cool. My camera died during the trip. After the long but wonderful tour of London by foot we went on a River Cruise Tour. It was cool learning things about the areas surrounding the Thames River. It was a long day but I loved it. London is beautiful.

On Sunday we went to many different places. We went to Rottingdean, Eastbourne, Birling Gap, Beachy Head, Pevensy Castle, and Alfriston. This trip was amazing. I saw the other side of England. It was really calm being up on a clift looking out to the ocean. It was an amazing view. We were able to see the Seven Sisters, which is a site to see. A lot of history behind everything in England. I <3 it! We went into Eastbourne to have breakfast and I had an English breakfast. It was really delicious. The waiter gave us an Obama key chain because he knew we were American. We got to explore the small town and it was a lot of fun. After we went to see Pevensy Castle it was a cool place to visit. It was built by the Romans. After we went into Alfriston for a cup of tea. :) It was really good. I felt so English and proper drinking it.

 So far I really have not gone out into Brighton because school has kept me occupied. I still have 7 weeks to enjoy here. I have booked my Italy trip to go visit my girls Andrea, Marta, Eli, and Virginia. Super stoked about that. I have also booked an Amsterdam and Burges trip. :) Super stoked kinda scared because I am going alone. I do not know anyone who is going on the tour, but I am taking the risk because I know I would never have the chance to do it again. :) This trip has been life changing that I love it so much and I have only been here for one week and a few days.
